The National Institute of Ancient Drama starts its second century of life bringing on the Greek Theatre stage three classical tragedies ​​​"The Suppliants" by Aeschylus, "Iphigenia in Aulis" by Euripides and "Medea" by Seneca.
From May the 15th to June the 28th the Foundation will purpose the cycle called "the sea trilogy"; that same sea, Sicily Channel especially, which has seen the death of women, children and men with the sole guilt of fleeing the war and poverty to the Southern Cost of Europe.

They cycle of classical representations at the Greek Theatre represents an event out of the ordinary in the international panorama and it brought Siracusa to be considered one of the most important center in the classical world and destination of lots of lovers of the open theatre.
